Monograph dedicated to the painter Mentor, published by Le Léopard d’or in Paris in 1993.

Patrice de La Perrière, art critic, publisher, director of the magazine Univers des arts and curator, met Blasco Mentor in 1982. Collaborating on several occasions, the two men formed a friendship that lasted until Mentor’s death in 2003.

In 1993, the preparation of a major solo exhibition of the artist at the Guigné Gallery, then located at 89, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, imposed the idea of putting together a reference book on the life and work of Blasco Mentor. The book, produced in close collaboration between the artist and his publisher and friend, gives birth to this monograph that is particularly sought after by collectors.

The book includes 124 color photos and 81 black and white photos from the artist’s archives. Texts by the artist and Patrice de La Perrière. Format 24 x 32 cm. 200 pages. Hardcover with color dust jacket.
