“Blasco Mentor, a lord who finds a refuge worthy of him at the Tower of the Templars”. This is how Jean-Pierre Giran presented the exhibition of this great Catalan painter yesterday during the opening of the exhibition which will run until September 1st. About fifty works (sculptures and paintings) have found their setting in this historic building in the city of palm trees. On behalf of the municipality of SollièsToucas, holder of the legacy of artistic creations and the Villa Nieves, François Amat, the mayor mentioned the project to create a Mentor museum. “A departmental and regional issue,” said Mr. Giran. Director of the Mentor Fund, Isabelle Rollin-Royer spoke of the incredible love story between Mentor and his wife Neige; so present in this exhibition entitled La Femme.
