The friends of Blasco Mentor’s work are pleased to inform you of the start of the rehabilitation work of Casa Nieves since February 2023. The scaffolding necessary for the work is visible from the village.
This is the first phase that covers:
– repair of the main roof of the house
– the repair of the roof terrace and the reinforcement of the stone wall under the terrace
– the security of the sculpture workshop
The cost of this first phase is estimated at 196,000 Euros excluding VAT.
The 277,000 Euros received from the Bern Foundation will be used to finance phase two, i.e. the renovation of the large workshop and the waterproofing of the large terrace.
